Fees
Sessions are $150 per 50 minute hour.  I also have a few slots set aside for those who cannot afford the full fee.  Couples fee is $200.00.  I accept cash and checks.  Sessions are typically weekly, but can vary according to your wants and needs. We will discuss this together and develop a plan with your therapeutic goals in mind.

Insurance
I accept most PPO’s and some HMO insurance plans.  Please check with me to confirm which plans I accept. If, however, you are insured by a company that I don’t accept and you want to see me, there will be an out of pocket fee.  Once per month or as requested, I will provide you with a HCFA form to submit to your insurance company. Most companies pay between 40% to 75% for out of network providers. You would need to call your provider to inquire as to how much they pay.

Questions you need to ask your insurance company:

• Do I have out-of-network mental health benefits?
• What is my coverage- number of sessions or percentage- for a provider outside of the network?
• What is my deductible and has it been met?
• Do I need to get any pre-authorization before my first appointment to see an out-of-network provider?
• Do my benefits cover a California licensed marriage and family therapist?
