About Me

As an African American therapist, I have been extremely fortunate to have the opportunity to work with a broad spectrum of people from many different cultures, lifestyles, experiences, ethnicities and socio-economic backgrounds.  I have learned that pain does not discriminate and life is truly a great equalizer. All of us at some time or another experience the doubt, uncertainty, loss, and sadness that come with living.

In my practice, I bring my academic learning, as well as, a constant curiosity about the dynamics of the human condition and why we do the things we do.  My own life has been rich in experience, enhancing my ability to empathize with others.  I am a compassionate listener, a caring and strong therapist with a style that is eclectic. I lean toward tailoring the therapy in a way that will best help you in reaching your goals.   Together we will determine the treatment style that best fits your needs.  I am honored to be able to journey with you through whatever may be holding you back. I will help you gain the tools to propel yourself forward, toward personal growth, and to a better understanding of yourself, the world and the people around you, past, present, and future.

If you are ready to change your life, I am here to help you.  I want to be a part of your transformation – a witness to your growth, as you fulfill your aspirations, hopes and dreams.

The best,

LaDonna Parker
